Who will I see?
Andrea Curtis, a registered nurse and independent prescriber who specialises in menopause, at The Wirral Menopause Clinic, part of Face Kandi Limited, a CQC-registered service (location 1-8660326228). Your care is delivered by her, as the regulated prescriber.
What do I get for the fee?
A full private appointment with the nurse prescriber. She takes your history, assesses you, and tells you what she thinks would help. Where treatment is right for you, she recommends it through one of our monthly plans.
Can I move or cancel my appointment?
Yes, email hello@solenehealth.co.uk and we will move it. If we cancel or cannot provide your appointment, you get a full refund. Once the consultation has taken place it is not refundable.
Can I get HRT or testosterone?
Where it's clinically right for you, yes, including body-identical HRT and testosterone, prescribed and delivered. That's decided in your consultation.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No referral needed. You book directly and speak to the prescriber by video.
How does the appointment work?
It is a private online consultation of about 45 minutes. She takes your history, asks what you have already tried, assesses you and tells you what she thinks would help. She also confirms your identity from photo ID during the call, which remote prescribing requires. Nothing is decided before you have spoken to her.
Is it a video call?
Yes, a video appointment you join from home at the time you picked. You need a phone, tablet or computer with a camera, somewhere private to talk, and nothing else. There is no travel and no waiting room.
What happens after the consultation?
If treatment is right for you, she recommends it through one of our monthly plans, and that is when membership starts, once she has set up your treatment plan. If it is not right for you, or you would rather think about it, nothing starts and you owe nothing further. Either way you leave the consultation knowing what she thinks and why.
